Bordelon Family Portraits

I had a great time shooting these family shots for the Bordelon family at New Orleans City Park. Their little boy, Andrew, was quite an active little guy, and you could tell he was very inquisitive and curious about everything going on around him!



Whether it was ducks, rocks, sticks, or even caterpillars- little Andrew wanted to play with it! He definitely kept me on my toes- but I needed the exercise!

This family was a joy to work with and I had a great time! Thanks Angele, Bryan, and Andrew! I look forward to working with ya'll again soon!

Julie Ann & Darby- Maternity & Portraits

When my friend Julie Ann asked me to take maternity shots for her- of course I obliged. Julie Ann has been around encouraging me to take the plunge with my photography! In fact, back in 2007, I took her maternity shots before baby Darby was born!


Now it's a little over two years later, and little Darby came along so that we could take some portraits of her as well! I was happy to do maternity photos again, for baby Riley, expected to arrive in June.
As you can see, Julie Ann is just glowing and beautiful- and well, Darby is just too cute for words. You can definitely see the love between mother & daughter. Soon, we'll have another beautiful girl to welcome into their family!


Congratulations Julie Ann, Patrick & Darby! I look forward to meeting Riley very soon!

Baby Ian- 1 Month Portraits

It seems like just yesterday, Baby Ian was born! I still can't believe that he is already over a month old! I took these photos right before Easter for his 1 month portraits.


Ian really is such a doll and I always love taking his photos. I'm looking forward to shooting his 3 month portraits soon!



In case you are wondering, Ian's portraits are coming to you as part of a package! You can purchase a "Baby's First Year" plan- which includes newborn, 1 month, 3 month, 6 month, 9 month, and 1 year portraits for your beautiful new baby. You can also add a maternity session for an additional fee.

Pet Portraits- Sparky

This adorable little guy is a part of the family... little Sparky joined my sister's family at Christmas- much to the joy of my niece!

He's finally grown into his own and looks like a grown miniature schnauzer- and just recently, I had the chance to get a few pet portraits of him.


Sparky is all puppy, very happy and active! He always wants to play, much to Scruffy's dismay.
Regardless, though, he's the apple of my sister and niece's eyes and I'm so happy to have him as part of our family.

I'm hoping to get some more portraits of him in years to come!

Button Family Portraits

This weekend, before I got wrapped up in trips to the zoo and blackberry picking with my family, I had the opportunity to take family portraits for the Button family.



As you can see, little Beau is as cute as a button and the apple of his parents' eyes. He was quite friendly and loved seeing woof-woofs and ducks everywhere! (a little boy who I have a lot in common with, it seems, as I love ducks & dogs, too!)

Happy Easter!

Lesley's Easter Photos

When I got an email from Jen about shooting Easter/9 Month photos of Lesley, her adorable little girl, I jumped at the chance.

Lesley is a gorgeous little girl, full of joy and happiness. It was great fun capturing her while she played with daisies, bunny ears, and checking out her Easter basket.




I am looking forward to capturing little Lesley again when she turns ONE this summer! Thanks Jen & Cary, and I look forward to seeing ya'll again soon!

Castillo-Fowler

When Amy called me and asked me to take some portraits of she & her sister, along with their children, I was more than happy to capture this beautiful, fun loving family.


As you can see, these girls are the leaders of some very beautiful families! It was a great pleasure shooting their families and I look forward to more time with them in the future. Thanks ya'll!

Baby Ian

If you recall, about a month ago, I took these maternity shots of my childhood friend, Kelly.

Two weeks ago today, Baby Ian was born, much to my surprise, as I thought she was surely having a girl! I was able to get shots of Ian on his "birthday" and just yesterday when I headed over to have his first "photo session" of many. I mean, after all, his "Aunt Andie" will surely have the camera in his face for the rest of his life!


Anyway- he's a cute little guy and I am just smitten with him. His little cheeks and pretty brown eyes just make me melt!

Anyway, I am looking forward to shooting him for all of his milestones and for many years to come!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Every now & then, I'll probably include a photograph that I've taken that is just something that caught my eye.

With that, I wish you a Happy St. Patrick's Day! I took this picture a little less than a month ago on a visit to New Orleans City Park where I came across many shamrocks in the tropical greenhouse at the Botanical Gardens.



I hope that all of these shamrocks bring much luck and good will to you and yours this year!

Dominach Family

This past weekend, I was able to shoot the beautiful Dominach family at New Orleans City Park. Scott has known Jude for many years- since they were kids, and I was honored when Andrea asked me to take their family portraits. Of course, I was up for the challenge of getting shots of Andrea, Jude, and their three sons, Cullen, Aidan, and Roman.




Of course, the boys had me on my toes most of the time, but they were very cute and fun to get pictures of! You could tell that they are a very tightly knit family and I think it shines through their pictures.

I had a great time taking their pictures and I looked forward to watching these boys grow up even more over the years! Thanks ya'll for being so fun to work with!
