Lesley- 2 Years

I have been taking Lesley's photos since she was about 5 months old. Her mom, Jen, and I go wayyyyy back- I'm talking grade school! We were in the same Brownie troop back in the 80's! (we were even on Popeye & Pals!) Jen has always been so supportive of my photography journey and she gave me my start. So thanks Jen!
Lesley always makes me laugh, but now that she's older, the laughs are constant on a photo session with her. This time she was cracking me up with her comments on nutria at the park and how they smelled.

I think this last pic is my favorite. I just love the little face she is making when she sniffed the crepe myrtle flowers. I think she said something along like "why don't these flowers smell?"

Thanks again Jen, Cary and Lesley! I'll see you guys soon!

Catherine

This adorable little munchkin is my niece, Catherine. She'll turn 1 in August and she's well on her way to being mobile!

I got to shoot a few pictures of her over Father's Day when we had a family get together.

She had me in stitches because she kept trying to catch up with me and the camera.

Love you little tootie and I'll see you soon!

Ella

When Ashley & Bobby contacted me to take newborn pictures of their new little bundle, Ella, I was so SURPRISED and overjoyed for them. I had no idea that Ashley had been expected and I was super excited to meet their new little precious gift.

Like her big sister, Olivia, Ella, too, is an adorable little peanut.
She's a sleepy peanut, too... clearly a bundle of joy for her mom, dad, and her big sister!

Welcome to the world, little Ella, and I look forward to seeing you again!

Haley & Evan

One warm spring morning, I had the pleasure of shooting pics of Haley & Evan in the French Quarter. These two kiddos had me on my toes all morning long and had me laughing so hard the whole time.
I mean- look at how cute and funny they are. I absolutely had a ball with them! Of course, we had to include mom & dad in a few photos, too!

You could clearly see the love this family shares and I'm so glad I got to spend some time shooting pics of them. Thanks again Jennifer, Chip, Haley & Evan! I hope you're having a great summer!

Brock

When my neighbor, Diane, asked me to take pictures of her grandson, Brock, I was more than happy to do so. I've known this little guy since he was born! While at Lafreniere Park, we took our time checking out ducks, turtles, squirrels, and even chickens! What I think was the most fun, though, was telling him some silly Knock-Knock jokes. This little guy was full of laughs and jokes.

Once we got tired of jokes, Brock couldn't wait to put on his favorite fishing boots and go "fishing" in the pond around the park, just like his Uncle and Mr. Scott, his favorite neighbor (my husband).

I had so much fun capturing Brock in images for his mom and grandmother- and I hope to work with him again- he's a riot!

Keating Family

It was a sunny beautiful day at City Park when I met up with my friend Julie Ann and her family for some fun pictures!

I've know Julie Ann and her husband, Patrick for a while now. Their two beautiful daughters are clearly the apple of their eyes.

As you can see, they are parents to these two precious little darlings. Darby is a riot, cracking me up with every chance she got.

And of course, the tiny little Riley, about to celebrate her first birthday, was so inquisitive and curious about everything around her, whether it was flowers, ducks, or even mom's pretty necklace and hair.

I had so much fun catching up with Julie Ann and Patrick and seeing those sweet little girls- I look forward to seeing them again really soon! Thanks Ya'll!

Brady & Bryce

It was a breezy day at Audubon Park when I met up with the B family for family pics that would feature their two adorable boys, Brady & Bryce.

These two little guys were a hoot to work with. Brady had me on my toes the whole time, as he was very interested in the wildlife through the park- and Bryce was curious about everything around him from fallen leaves, to ducks, and even the plastic Easter eggs his mom & dad put in a basket for him.

Of course, we had to let mom & dad in on the fun, too- although, I have to say, these two were undoubtedly the star of the show.
These two guys were just so funny, sweet and cute! These two are sure to be quite the catch when they get older!

Thanks ya'll for letting me snap some shots of you and for making me laugh the whole time! It was a blast!
