Ian- 4 Months

My dear friend Kelly's son, Ian, is growing up so fast and he's getting cuter & cuter by the day. Just a little over a week or so ago, Ian turned 4 months old.

Of course, I couldn't go without taking pictures of my favorite little buddy.

Just look at those dimples! That Smile! I can't help but melt when I see him. He's so happy these days!
He is really growing up to be quite a handsome little boy and I can't wait to see him in a few more weeks when he turns 5 months!

Sarah & Gavin

Sarah & Gavin just both recently celebrated their birthdays- Sarah turned 4 and Gavin turned 1, all within the same month! To celebrate, we went to City Park to take some portraits of them.

Of course, Mom & Dad joined in on the fun a little bit too, and we had a great time catching these fun images of the kids. Gavin & Sarah, I hope you guys both had the best of birthdays, and I hope to see you again when you turn 2 & 5!

Lilly Grace- 9 Months

When Karen & Brian asked me to take photos of their sweet girl, Lilly, I was excited. Lilly is an adorable little girl, always smiling and happy to hear you sing "Lilly's Song."
As you can see, Lilly is a spunky little girl on the cusp on taking her first steps. I think being a cheerleader is in her future- especially because she loves to cheer, clap, and sing.

"

Thanks Karen, Brian, and Lilly! I hope to see ya'll soon when Lilly turns one and to sing Lilly's Song! ;)

Wedded Bliss- Heather & Eric

If you recall, back in February, I introduced you to my good friends Heather & Eric when I took their Engagement Pictures. I was so happy when they got engaged last May while on a gondola in Venice that I couldn't wait to capture their wedding.

Last Friday, I had the great pleasure of being a guest AND a guest photographer at their wedding. As part of my gift to these two lovebirds who I adore, I shot photos for them. As you can see, these two are so adorable and in love and put on a great wedding ceremony.

As soon you can see, Heather was a beautiful bride. It certainly isn't hard to take good pictures when your subjects are gorgeous!

Their wedding was at Our Lady of the Rosary Church and their reception was at the Pavilion of Two Sisters at City Park. Their celebration was a blast and I'm glad I could have been a part of it and that I was able to capture their day in pictures.

Heather & Eric- Best Wishes to you guys for many years of happiness, love, and bliss and thanks for letting Scott & I be a part of your special day!

Ian - 3 months

Over the last few months, I have had the pleasure of shooting photos of little Baby Ian. I've seen him grow from a bouncing newborn boy to his current age, 3 months old. Pretty soon, he'll be hitting 4 months!

He's really growing so fast and he's becoming more & more alert- it's very fun to see him grow!

These first two photos are from when he was 2 months- he was not too thrilled to have the camera in his face!

But then we took some photos when he made 3 months and he was definitely much happier about having his picture taken.

Are you an expecting mother? Would you love a photo package that would photographically chronicle baby's first year? I can offer you a Baby's First Year package that would include a photo session for major milestones of baby's first year- newborn, 1 month, 3 month, 6 month, 9 month, and 12 month. Email me for pricing and availability.

Fisher Family Portraits

I had the joy of shooting photos of the Fisher Family, Carrie, Zane & Laura, a little over a week ago, at Audubon Park.

Audubon Park is by far one of my most favorite places in New Orleans and it is always a great place to get pictures- so of course, I was happy when they wanted to take their pictures there.

When I wasn't cracking up at how much little Laura laughed and smiled, I was having a ball taking pictures of this adorable and happy family. You can definitely see that Laura is the light of her parents' eyes.

Thanks Carrie, Zane & Laura for a great session! I am looking forward to getting more photos for you guys in the future!

Emily

Last Friday, I had so much fun shooting photos of little Emily, who will be turning two very soon! Emily was a ball to shoot pictures of- she's so playful and happy- so it was easy to capture some great images.

I also got a few pictures of her parents, too, but clearly, Emily was the star of the show!

Thanks Kim, Philip and Emily for the fun afternoon at the park! It was fun working with you guys and I hope to do more portraits for you in the future!

Miramar Beach, Florida

A few months ago, Scott & I decided a nice long weekend at the beach was something that we wanted (and needed) for a little rest & relaxation. Living on the Gulf Coast- nothing seems better than heading to the Northwest Florida Coast- otherwise known as the "Emerald Coast" for a long weekend visit.

There is just something special about the Emerald Coast- most notably- is its sugar white sand and the greenish-blue glistening glow of the water there. While you are there- sometimes you forget that you're not in the Caribbean or some other exotic locale. It's just that special.
The weather was perfect for our visit- not too hot- and the beach was busy, but not too crowded.

Of course, I couldn't go to the beach without my camera to capture a few shots of one of my favorite places - the beaches in & around Destin, Florida. We stayed in Miramar Beach, which is a little bit down the road from Destin- and just as breathtaking.

Our second night there, we were able to capture this beautiful sunset as we walked along the beach after dinner.

We had a fantastic time- and we're already making plans to go back sometime in the late summer/early fall.

And I can't take credit for these last two photos- the first was taken by a nice lady who returned the favor when I got a picture of her with her friends- and the second was taken by my husband, Scott. :) Since Scruffy wasn't allowed on the beach- we stood at the top of the boardwalk and got a shot of him- I had to capture the fact that he was near the beach!
